Cravens help launch the Virgin Money Foundation

by Melanie Hill 18th August, 2015

Cravens have created the website and online film that will support the launch of Virgin Money’s new charitable enterprise, The Virgin Money Foundation.

Staying true to the Virgin Group’s entrepreneurial roots, the Foundation is looking for charities and individuals within deprived areas who, with some financial assistance, can see a way to make a big difference to their local community.

The Foundation launches with an online film, and a website detailing who is eligible and how to apply for funding, all conceived and created by us.

The film was directed by internationally-renowned, North East based photographer and director Alex Telfer. It features people from all walks of life, young and old, with their eyes closed, inspired to imagine the potential in a run-down area or building. The film was shot in a single day, from dawn to dusk, in locations right across the area. It will sit on a dedicated Virgin Money Foundation website, which will also serve as the only way to apply for the new funding.

Speaking about the project, Cravens Business Director Melanie Schouw said ‘We’re proud to be supporting the Virgin Money Foundation in spreading their message. Working closely with Virgin Money and Alex Telfer has allowed us to create a piece of work that will inspire others to make a real difference in communities across the north east and beyond’.

The website and accompanying film officially launched on 10th August 2015. Have a look at the case study or visit the Virginmoneyfoundation.org website for more information.
