What do we want people to do?Visit

Why should they?Plants bring people to life

Making it happen

Kew is more than a beautiful garden with lovely plants and iconic buildings. It’s a place to stimulate the senses. We find positive emotional touch points between people, plants and place - throughout the seasons.

The result

  • We raised visitor numbers in winter by 33%
  • We created the biggest ever increase in visits by children
  • People are more engaged than ever with the importance of Kew’s role in preserving plants for the future of our planet

Seasonal promotion

Dripping with colour

Colour literally ran from our posters and bus-sides for Kew’s winter tropical flower festival.

Tropical Extravaganza

Kew brings colour to the capital in winter. A bright orchid bursts forth from a sea of black umbrellas in a riot of colour designed to chase away the winter blues.

Lose yourself

The Gardens’ 250th anniversary made summer the ideal time to escape the busy capital for the beautiful backdrop of Kew.

Butterflies, Bugs and Beasties

For Summer 2010 we turned the pollination story into a beautiful romance between butterflies and orchids.

High adventure

Our Autumn 2009 campaign took the feeling of Kew’s Treetop Walkway to new heights

Plantastic

Children’s illustrator Sarah Horne brought Kew’s five plantastic play areas to life with an eye-catching look perfect for kids.
