Culinary Creativity of The Month - April

Our studio pride themselves on producing excellent and creative work, with rigorous attention to detail.

Here's a fine example of that creativity from Yorkshire Dave, one of our Senior Graphic Artists. This is the cake that he made for his son's recent 2nd birthday (Happy Birthday Oliver, just in case you're reading this).

Taking a whopping four hours to create, the primary medium used here was Victoria Sponge. Shunning traditional marzipan for the outer layers, Dave went with a daring mix of butter and royal icings to create Thomas' classic features. Controversy is something we're not afraid of here at Cravens.

Well done to Dave. Check back in May to see what we've cooked up next.
