Unveiled - our global brand and digital strategy for World Rowing

Drum roll please. After immersing ourselves in the amazing sport of rowing for the past nine months we’ve finally surfaced to unveil to the world, our new rebranding and digital media strategy for FISA, the international rowing federation.

Our new identity retains the existing ‘world rowing’ title but teams it with a new circular logo derived from Sumi-e, an Asian art form. The brand made its debut at the Samsung World Rowing Cup in Munich.

The digital media strategy and redesigned website, which was launched at the same time, focuses strongly on video streaming of events and social networking media – all designed to offer rowing communities across the world the opportunity to communicate. It also features an online video, which explains the use of the ‘enso’ symbol in the logo – a perfect circular brushstroke, which symbolises the perfect circle that a well-executed stroke of an oar leaves in the water.
