Here at Cravens we like nothing better than experimenting with technology to enhance our everyday experiences. As you’re probably aware a little event called Euro2012 is happening right now. So we thought it would be fun to enhance our viewing experience by building a real-time content aggregator to pull in tweets from across the world, getting a feel for fans’ reactions to key events as they happen, as well TV pundits’ comments and viewpoints.

David Nash at Kew

We’ve been working with Kew Gardens to promote their new art exhibition for 2012 / 13, David Nash at Kew: A Natural Gallery.

In a career spanning 40 years, David Nash has created over 2,000 sculptures out of wood, many of them monumental in scale. These sculptures are sometimes carved or partially burned to produce a charred surface. His main tools are a chainsaw and an axe to carve the wood, and fire to char it.

Look out now for Cravens’ latest campaign for two of the region’s biggest tourist attractions: The Alnwick Garden and Alnwick Castle. It’ll have you seeing double!

This quirky campaign, which rolls out on TV and radio as well as press, direct mail and online promises visitors ‘double the day out’. Using motion graphics with split-screen and kaleidoscopic effects, our fun-filled commercial cleverly showcases the dazzling array of activities and events on at both attractions this summer.
