Companies spend fortunes trying to get viral ads seen by more than a few thousand people, only for their sophisticated offerings to be consistently trounced by videos of kittens falling asleep.

Samsung's agency has clearly decided that if you can't beat them you'd better join them. Happily, the resulting vid is not only tooth-numbingly cute but also very funny. The evil hedgehog is our favourite.

Online for just 48 hours, the ad already has over 75,000 views and we certainly wouldn't bet against it being one of the big viral hits of the year.
